Telecom Infrastructure Construction Services

Modern telecom infrastructure demands contractors who can work across disciplines without losing momentum between them. FTCI has been doing exactly that since 2019 — starting with early 5G buildouts in San Jose, San Francisco, and Sacramento and growing into a team capable of handling the full technical scope of wireless and wireline construction, from underground civil work through RF testing and final closeout.
Coax Installation & Testing

fiber Installation & Testing

Fiber is the backbone of every modern telecom network, and installing it right requires more than pulling cable. FTCI handles fiber installation and end-to-end testing across a wide range of applications — from OSP routes and underground conduit systems to inside plant and data center environments. Every installation is tested to spec before the project closes.

Coax Installation & Testing

From headend facilities to distributed antenna systems and small cell nodes, coax installation and testing is a regular part of FTCI’s scope on telecom builds. Our teams handle coax work in both indoor and outdoor environments, with proper termination and testing practices that keep signal performance where it needs to be.

OSP (Outside Plant)

Outside plant construction is where most telecom projects meet their hardest logistics challenges — right-of-way constraints, utility conflicts, permit timelines, and civil complexity that can slow a project to a crawl if the team isn’t prepared. FTCI’s civil crews have extensive experience with OSP builds and prioritize GT and room-ready dates to keep packages moving efficiently. We adhere strictly to General Order 128 rules for underground work and bring the experience to handle complex builds without slowdowns.

Macro NSB & Mods

FTCI has in-house civil and tower crews capable of handling macro new site builds and modifications across most build types. We’ve supported major carriers and general contractors on builds throughout the region and understand the technical and documentation requirements that come with macro construction from the ground up.

Rooftop Installations

Rooftop builds introduce a layer of complexity that not every telecom contractor is equipped to manage cleanly. FTCI handles turn-key rooftop installations including platform additions, FRP support, and full equipment installation. Inside the building, we manage our own conduit bending, coring, and scanning for low-impact, efficient installs. Line, antenna, and testing work is handled by the same crew — no coordination required.
Line & Antenna Installation

Line & Antenna Installation

Precise line and antenna installation is fundamental to a well-performing wireless site. FTCI’s RF-experienced crews handle line and antenna work on towers, rooftops, and small cell structures with the technical discipline to get it done correctly the first time. We take seriously the downstream impact that sloppy line work or improper antenna alignment has on network performance.

RF Testing & PIM Mitigation

A site that passes visual inspection but fails RF performance testing costs everyone time and money. FTCI conducts RF testing and passive intermodulation (PIM) mitigation as both a standalone service and as an integrated part of our construction scope. Our RF teams have the equipment and experience to identify interference sources, resolve PIM issues, and verify that a site is performing to specification before we close out.
